Veterans Beginner Guitar Group

Meetings: the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.
Time: 5:35pm- 7:00pm.
Location: 63 N Main St, Weaverville NC 28728 ( First Baptist Church) South Side glass door entrance

Group Overview: Our group will meet twice a month, following structured lessons from respected online guitar learning platforms such as "Good Guitarist" and "GuitarZoom." The primary goal is for members to practice the assigned lessons independently at home and then review and refine these lessons together during our group sessions. The focus of our lessons is on developing acoustic guitar skills and enjoying the process of making music. A calendar will be available soon, including practice links for each session to ensure everyone stays on track.

About Me (Michael): I am relatively new to playing the guitar, having started not long ago, and I formed this group to foster the learning and growth of guitar skills among fellow enthusiasts. As of 2024, I noticed a lack of beginner music groups specifically geared toward veterans in our area, which inspired me to create this community. If you are a veteran interested in learning the acoustic guitar in a structured, beginner-friendly environment, I encourage you to join us.
